Empire conducts Geohydrological surveys to assess water extraction/harvesting potential at a site. It involves the collection of information about subsurface Geology & its lateral extent, details of existing groundwater structures in the study area along with details about the prevailing drainage system. The topography of the proposed area is also collected. Initially, the Geohydrological study of the area was done by physical observation to identify few patches from the Geohydrological point of view, then the Geo-electrical survey with Resistivity meter on these locations using Schlumberger configuration to know all the information of deeper zones for detecting higher-yielding cracks & fissures in the underlying formations. The results are then interpreted through PC to conclude the study at VES locations proposed.
